Bikes: 82 Bianchi ECO Pista, Pake, Kilo TT, some *** bmx i found underneath an old house

There is a leather tooling and supply store about a mile away from me that sells buckles. I don't know that they sell these particular type of buckle, their inventory is pretty big. But I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I'll grab their card and post their info.

thats acutally a picture of toshi straps.
and most suede loses it's fuzziness eventually and has little bearing it's strength.
as long as they dont get totally dried out and brittle, they'll be fine.
check out the london forums. they've been using these straps for awhile now w/o problems.

toshis are thicker and a better overall construction
but these are not bad at all. I'd rate them just below toshi/kashimax/mks alpha
but far above soma/all-city/whatever else.

are you getting one new one or a new pair?

since the clip is broken off one, you could cut that one in half and make it into a single. would probably be a better single than a nylon strap.

Wabi is an excellent company! They were supposed to send it via FedEx Ground (basic shipping), but sent it out via USPS Priority instead (faster!). They even wrote a note on the packaging slip.

Got my pair today. Strong smell indeed. I love how they charged $8 for shipping (40 miles away) but it cost them $0.95 (on the package). I guess handling is $7.05 . Ridden Toshi's before but never owned them. The quality of these seems solid. I put in about 20 miles on them today including a bunch of high speed skids and long skids and they stayed very snug so far. Came from All City's so I already feel good about the buy. Will post updates over time.

They look like your standard issue swan style road clips. I know for a fact that all city makes a pair of double strap compatible swan style road clips, considering thats what i run.

On topic:
I just bought a set of the wabi's. My all city leathers slip so bad. For my pedal setup i am running:
Wabi Double straps
All City Swan road style double toe clips
mks gr-9 pedals

They are CKC double clips. They seem a bit studier than the MKS single I broke. I believe soma/all-city uses the same ones and just brand them on the top. Pretty sure all city and soma straps are the same too. There's a company in socal here that does the same thing that sells them for cheaper also. I believe they sell under ebay under fubar.

Mr. jon, are yours stamped CKC on the bottom? We'd have the same pedal setup then

has anybody mentioned that these are exustars yet? I want to make sure people will know they're exustars.
