I don't eat meat or plants, I get my energy by sun gazing. The sun has all the energy one could ever need you just need to learn how to use it.

Also, the Pake vinly straps. If you are looking for the feel of double straps, you can either run two sets of nylon straps crossed in an X pattern (I did this with) or two sets of straps with Soma Quad gates. My current daily is set up with Soma Quad gates with the nylon straps in the front and the Pake vinly straps in the back. I haven't compared to see which strap set up feels nicer.

Yeah, I pack my bearings with bacon grease and lube everything else with beef tallow and sometimes the smell gets pretty bad

I like this post. The OP is not starting fights with anyone about how right he is/how awesome he is/how victimized he is. There are plenty of people offering solutions to the OP's query, and a few of the typically expected "meat roolz" ass-hattery comments. But no fighting! No one is arguing for or against the tenants of veganism! See?! You CAN be vegan without being a self-righteous whiney punk! Try that next time, Robo!

so your saying when i'm badgered with ignorant comments and then try to defened myself, im atomatically a 'self-righteous whiney punk'? sorry, but i'd rather not bend over and just take it. if you look back at the other thread, i never instigated fights about veganism, i just defended my views when i was being attacked.

You're missing the point. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO BROUGHT YOUR VIEWS UP FOR DEBATE. You said yourself it is something you enjoy debating. And that is why you are a self-righteous whiney punk. You start ****, then cry about how you get ****. You do this to enforce your decision to be vegan. This way, you convince yourself that there is some sort of glamour and glory about being vegan. This, in turn, leads you to start **** so that you are actually "earning" the glamour and glory of your decision. Which is my whole problem with you people; you don't just do what you do because it's right for you, you're a self-righteous glory seeker who usually ends up playing the victim because you're "badgered" and "attacked" when you start **** in the first place.

Ok, so I just re-read the thread https://www.bikeforums.net/singlespeed-fixed-gear/572184-vegan-double-toe-straps.html

And no one really attacked you IMO, but you started soap boxing your POV like it is the only one. You fed the trolls and got butthurt because of it. Sounds like you are still sore to me.

If you really want to save the environment/animals or whatever start a campaign to kill the most invasive species on this planet, humans. Skynet should be up and running soon.

A thread about toe strap material in a bike forum is not a great medium for trying to convince people to change their lifestyle/dietary habits. So unless you just enjoy getting in internet fights, why feed the trolls?

I have also heard good things about the Pake Space Straps. When my MKS nylon ones kick the bucket, I'll give them a shot.

Bikes: Raleigh Special * Nishiki MTN Winter Commuter * Trek Soho 3 * Specialized Langster Seattle

I blew through my nylon ones in about 3 months. My leather ones are holding up much MUCH better.
