Possible to strip decals off the Langster?

I'm planning on getting one of these bad boys in about a week from the LBS but I was wondering if it's a practical frame to mod. I don't want the d-bag stigma of getting this bike that has all these tacky decals on it. I can live with the specialized logo but specifically I want to get rid of that eagle and other decal.

Any ideas?

Cheers

The plain langster isn't pretending to be:

-A track bike
-Coffee shop bike with faux fenders

Gonna go with a powder coating service since its fairly cheap. Not sure what color I want to do now! Probably Satin Black (ideas?) since the bike comes equipped for the white/black color scheme anyways.

+1 & Why buy a bike you don't like in the first place?
My advice : 1. If you like the feel of the bike, buy it. 2. Don't paint it. 3. Ride it into the ground.

I think you can love a bike and hate the decals. So yeah, try to get it.

What is there to get?? This guy is buying a bike that he believes has a D-Bag stigma surrounding it because of a couple of decals. Yep sound reasoning. Gotto go.

You might want to strip off the slanting top tube as well.

I would just use Black Vinyl to Cover it up If you are gonna spend the cash to powder coat Just buy a different Bike. I think you can get the Leader with no decal
