Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

LOL: huylarious! why not just skip the frame, ride a unicycle and grab unto the axle nuts of a free-floating front wheel.

Bikes: Too Many

Damn!...Why don't you just put a set of BMX pegs on your front wheel and steer with those.

yeah, that thing is crazy. i don't know where rossin frames are made, but it looks like these frames made by a russian frame designer in the 80s. that bar set up was banned apparently. i imagine a few people were impaled by the headset. its crazy as hell though.

Yea, the big guy in the sky called them "handle bars" for a reason, not "fork bars."

It looks like a slight, but important, difference between the one on eBay and the pics on bikecult is the headset. The pics on bikecult (for the most part) don't seem to have a nub/headset like part poking up.

Chris Boardman used fork bars to great effect in the post-Lotus monocoque years. But the Aussie Superbike bars are still the most gorgeous aero bars ever made.

I dunno about the bikes in those pics, but those campy discs are pretty hot.
