Hold Fast Straps
So I got some of these (https://holdfastordie.com/) the other day and I will say that they hang on very well. With regular toe clips I feel like I need to keep my foot angled somewhat upwards while stopping to keep my foot in the clip. However, with these suckers it feels a lot more like riding clipless. The problem: for the strap to work you need two sets of holes on each side of the pedal for the straps to run through. My original pedals had one hole on each side and I ran the other strap under the spindle. This setup led to the strap bunching up at the front and difficulties getting into the pedal. So, I got some BMX style pedals (see pic: https://holdfastordie.squarespace.com/) and now I am faced with another issue. These things have no pick-up tab. It is almost impossible to get into while moving. I had to stop and lean on a stop sign to strap in. Anybody use these things before? What pedals did you use?

I use bmx pedals and have no issues getting in. You'll get used to it after a while.
