I ride on dirt trails even with my 25c tire fixed all the time. I just constantly maneuver around holes and obstacles.

I've got one too. Built it for winter, actually, but it was a blast on the trails.

Now it's got fenders, studs and a rack, but I'm not favouring it in the snow after all.

Rigid steel frames look great with a fixed gear and big knobbies.
