Bent a little how, thats probably fixable, but if you have the money and you want new wheels, by all means buy new wheels, I'm sure your LBS could use the money.

well it is bent just slightly but it is pretty true. the prob is with the back it has wear and tear from so much riding and taking it on and off that it is just stripping everywhere.it is partially my fault but i have like bike masters all around me so i m learning

Why are you taking parts off and on?
On another note, check out this site. https://www.bicyclewheelwarehouse.com...ewCat&catId=10
Decent wheels for not a lot of money.

But he says it's pretty true. So it could simply mean his wheels need some truing. (Truing is an awesome trick for any cyclist to learn; and starting earlier the better, I am sure. ... I am also sure girls would think you are geek unfortunately. ... Darn it, I know)

I think Kevin Bacon's truing skills got him some "action" in Quicksilver; I need to re-watch it to be sure

Just true the wheel.
Get a spoke tool, read or watch a few tutorials and sort the wheel out. It's amazing the number of people who tell me their wheels are broken and need to buy new wheels, I have a look and it's just a little untrue, of the hub cone bolts are a little loose. Don't waste your cash on stuff until it's really broken.

Bikes: too many
how many miles are you riding? cogs seem to last damn near forever if your chain is clean and your tension isn't ********ly tight.
buy a book on bike repair. learn how to take care of the parts before upgrading. a low quality wheelset in great condition will ride a hell of a lot better than an expensive one in terrible condition.

Here's what I thought of while reading this post:
Wheelset - et = wheels
Rimset - et = rims
The addition of set to everything cycling bugs me. The letter 's' is perfectly functional for pluralizing.
