but in a different thread people told me to avoid them b/c of bad geometry and bad welding, and also ppl say Leader stole the design.. im not sure about the latter

you can do better, for the same price. if you don't know how to, or disagree, then get a Leader - you're their ideal customer.

Their steel or aluminum frame??
Cuz I have FIRST HAND experience with their 722 steel frame and it's awesome!
The beautiful hydro formed jap tubing, modern specs, no toe overlap!
I've had great customer service as well.
I also like that Leader sponsors riders who ride their bikes and give them feedback.
Some of these riders are well respected fixed gear riders who have been riding fixed and riding leaders
before it was fad.

they are not very high quality and are generally marketed towards people who are like "OMG AERO TUBING FOR CHEAP = SWEET FIXIE BRO"
