For $700 you get:
1) 7005 aluminum frame and carbon fork - under 19 lbs
2) Flip-flop with both freewheel and fixed cog included
3) overall decent wheels and components
4) rack/fender/bottle mounts and free beernuts axle wrench

The best street price I could find by Google was $669 + shipping? I haven't checked any local dealers for pricing. It just seems like a pretty good deal for what it is. The 7005 aluminum is normally found in higher end track bikes costing twice as much. They also have a hipsterish model called the Curbside for the same price.

is the geo track? Looks like a street SS/fixie to me, but looks can be deceiving, and the sloping TT makes it hard to tell what the geo really is. Chainring looks a bit small for track. Price is right, but that's about the only thing attractive about this bike.

Generally speaking, mass start (non sprint) track bikes are around 74 degrees with a 30 degree fork*.
*Depending on frame size, of course.

The Felt curbside is the biggest Dbag-fixed complete bike out there! The dispatch looks like it's trying to compete with the langsters and it's more of a singlespeed road bike than a track bike so it really depends on what you're looking to do with it.

Oh, for sure it's totally street oriented. The gearing is 39 x 15 fixed (70 gi), which is about what I run on the street. The BB is also pretty low with 65mm drop. Still, it should be reasonably responsive without being harsh or twitchy. I'm not judging it as a track bike but as a full time street SSFG.

Just because it's a FG (flip/flop actually) doesn't mean it has to look beat to h*ll from messenger work, NJS certified, or a track superstar. A "nice bike" is OK for some people.
Just because it has a cog and a lockring doesn't mean it was submitted for your personal approval.
