eighth-inch components

does anyone have any experience with these? I'm really interested in their cranks with chainrings, they're priced at $50 and seem like they would be nice. I can't find reviews of them though and am apprehensive about the quality. I've had good experiences with their wheels, but that's all. Any info?

I ride some Origin8 components. Nothing too fancy, not too cheap. It's a good utility product. Probably comes from the same factory as the Eighth Inch Brand. Most bike stuff comes from the same island now a days.

I've got an EighthInch cog, lockring and chainring on my Kilo and my wife has a set of their bullhorns on one of her bikes. It's good quality stuff and finished better than the Origin 8 stuff I've had/seen.

at $50 a pop, can't complain.

They are pretty quiet too. Much quieter than my current SRAMs

Sugino RD2's are a nice set. Iv been running a set for awhile now and work great for average cruising/commuting.

Bikes: 8 bikes - one for each day of the week!

I guess I don't hammer enough, because my EighthInch cranks seem fine to me.

I have eighthinch white bullhorns. Quality for the price and I would recommend.

Yeah. That was misleading. I was just talking out of my ass.

They work fine. Of course, there's better. But at that price point, I think they're damn good.

Hah. Look at how your cranks are mounted. They are not aligned. No wonder you are walking funny.

That doesn't look right at all, It looks more then 90 degrees off as a square taper would allow.

sigh, no one on the internet understands sarcasm. Those cranks are ****ed up. That isn't his fault, they were made like that. And to top it off the cranks do flex a bit. It is noticeable but no where near a big deal. You wont be track racing with these anyhow. My cranks have not given me any real problems.

edit: what are you jealous wroomwroomoops?
