Actually Scrod, thanks a lot, that picture really helped. I've been kinda laggin with experimenting with brake placement and have just been going on random rides brakeless (it's some scary SHlT for me). I tried that before, but my brake lever clamp was a bit too big, so I was having problems with leaving it on the curve. I think I'll just have to find a new one.

and where the hell do you find all these pictures? It looks like everything you say always has to come with a pic lol. However, it is helpful at times.

Thanks for the suggestion! As a matter of fact, i think I'm gonna go to my local bmx bike shop right now. Riding brakeless really makes me wanna shat my pants, I hate it.

Oh and if I were to get bmx levers, I won't needa change out any of my original parts right? (besides the lever of course).

That pic is actually of my bike (I assume you're talking about that pic and not the one of bloodied Fabio).

What size lever do you need? I have an unused right-side Tektro cross lever with a 24mm clamp that I'll send you for 10 bucks if you want it.

Bikes: 8 bikes - one for each day of the week!

I'll see your chrome right side clamp and raise you an all black one, in 31.8mm.

LOL sorry, I do too much reading during the daytime at school. When I come home and go shopping online, I just look for three words "add to cart".

I actually got them from a friend of mine on the west coast right when they came out. As much as I do like them, I'm not sure if I would have paid that much for them. $65+ is pretty steep.

I'm just stopping by after finishing an Ovid paper to say that I do love Latin (and Ancient Greek), but classical rather than medieval.

@Brian - I know what you're saying about the lack of coherent organization of thought in forum posts - I'm definitely guilty of that sometimes.

Bah! How much does a powder-coating cost anyway? ... Then again, I do own Titec H-bar. So I should shut my mouth is my own shoe.

P.S.

Well, mac ... If you are talking about Metamorphosis, you got a wrong man. I am too immature to appreciate that sorta thing. It's so ... not hipster.

Good lord already! why are all these bars getting cut so damn narrow? Yeah I've heard the "so I can snake between cars" line..come on are you really that close between cars that the two inches you cut off your bars is a lifesaver? how do you get any leverage at all on an incline?

For the love of god try and convince me this isn't just a fashion statement.

anyway i'm finished now, back to your regularly scheduled hate!

Oh and I still like alot of the bikes I see on here, except Gold and white ones..(just kiddin' schrod). nice rig..

Oh just trust me, it's not that narrow, so calm down already. I've seen narrow from all the hipsters around here and mine are nowhere near that.
