Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Get bullhorns.

Seriously. I couldn't skid more than a couple feet with track drops, but I have no trouble with bullhorns.

It gets old fast, though. Maybe it would be more fun if tires were free.

I see threads on these kind of subjects like every 3 days and all the responses are the same.

Check your gear ratio.
Good gear inches for skidding would be around 70in
balls to the stem, etc.

Whatever happened to the search function? Smdh.
