new frame advice

hello all,

i've been riding steel frames ever since i can remember and i think the time has come for me to try out some new metal. i'm interested in purchasing an aluminum frame/fork set but the problem is the higher cost. i intend to use the bike as a commuter/road distance bike

can you guys give me some suggestions for a decently priced/quality aluminum frameset?

much appreciated

higher cost? there are plenty of inexpensive aluminum frames. Leader comes to mind immediately.

leader was the only one i really had in mind. i would say my budget would be topped off at $300 but the cheaper the better.
