Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Edited. Are you happy? Super touchy bro. Nothing "derp" about having an opinion.

court- omg it ALLLMOST looked like my old nishiki. way to go!

it just lacks a fast enough shutter speed to prevent camera shake, so we can't tell any of those things.

sweet bike!

xavier - super pretty. is that a mash bottle? i love mine.

That sounds very incompatible. I am surprised it works, but cool, I guess?

cc700: I still love that CAAD.

I have a light attached to the saddle post... which covers about half inch of it. At the setup right now, I can have my legs extended ~90-95% on the bottom of a cycle. And I've been meaning to get my saddle and handlebars leveled...

the shifters are the only thing that are 7700 on the whole bike, everything else is 6500.

and i guess the mash bottle is really made by specialized. i love the one way valve.

I'd be shocked if you didn't end up with hand/wrist pain after half an hour with that setup. Nice bike, though, same era as my Nishiki and a good time for badass paintjobs.

how do you think to minimize wrist pain? i l been on bullhorns or tri bars for the past two years it actually sits a lot highers than fixed gear

if i am understanding your question, core strength prevents wrist pain.

Also leveling your saddle out so it isn't pitching your body weight onto your handlebars is a good start.
