Belt-driven fixies?
The first attempt at posting this apparently made me look like a spammer or advertiser, while in fact I'm not.
A relatively new thing in bike land is the belt drive. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belt-driven_bicycle
Until recently this system was mainly used with single speed bikes, resulting in bikes like the Trek District. Some fixed gear builders however have started to use the belt drive system too. Examples of companies offering belt-driven fixies are F8 Cycles, Fixie Inc., Schindelhauer and Spot Bikes.
Have any of you already tried this belt-drive stuff on a fixie, or perhaps even bought a prebuilt fixie equipped with it?
I'm considering buying one myself but there don't seem to be too many models on the market as of yet. Currently I'm most interested in this model but it's a bit pricey...

Yeah, I was looking at the Peacemaker last year. It's very pricey, and too overseas for me. I think they have the best solution for removing and replacing the belt, though. The JigSaw coupler is pretty sweet.
