I just got a Kilo, and im going to have to tigthen everything up at some point. So i need to buy some of the basic tools to do so i.e a chain whip and lockring tool. Im looking for good quality tools, but also so it dosent break the bank.
If anyone has any suggestions or even if you have extra tools, id be willing to buy them from you.(the tools, not the suggestions)
Thanks guys.

The bikes don't come disassembled, they come partially assembled. Every nut/bolt needs to be inspected and/or adjusted.
ESPECIALLY YOUR COG/LOCKRING, without tightening these, your hub can be toasted in seconds....

Pat - for real...bring your rear wheel into a local shop and have them tighten it up. If they're cool, they'll do it for a few bucks. If they're really cool (like my shop), they'll do it for free. If they do it for free, buy something, even if it's a tube or something else small.

i own these https://www.performancebike.com/bikes...7_20000_400036 I use them at least 3 times a week and nothing has broke on me yet and I have a tendancy to gorilla arm stuff. its got all the basics. If i dont have the tool to do the job in that box, I should probably not be trying to do the job in the first place. (imo)

If you have one of these:

you can make a quick and dirty chainwhip with a chunk of old chain.
Wedge chain in the 90 degree end and pull it over the tool, then put the straighter end on your cog, then wrap chain around cog, then make sure you have good leverage, adjust & tweak if not, then give 'er hell.
* this is not recommended by me in any way, just something I used when I had no other tool on hand.
