Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Why maybe you didn't. I've never felt so wrong in my entire life. Sorry.

Ya know, I just look at all that carbon and think about how much more expensive it is and how much more likely it is to chip into complete failure... All for probably like a pound of difference. Maybe if I was going for the gold, but me, I prefer something I can throw at a lamp pole and not worry about it completely delaminating.

It's sexy, but in the same way a Formula-1 car is: something that's best suited for a true racetrack.
