Cotton tape ftw rewrap for decades.

@adriano, is that a bmx stem? It is really short.

Cheers

I'm avoiding this by just getting track grips. Do I lose street cred?

I ... I dunno, Adriano. It's too perfect, it almost feel ... cold. Heehee. Looks wonderful. That's the level I am looking for when I wrap mine.

its a downhill stem.

the sticker is a pretty good motivation tool! ive also put one on my girlfriends three speed cruiser.

that picture was after the perfectness of a fresh rewrap.

What's that sticker mean?

I wrap my bars once, I don't want to spend so much time on it. I'd rather stare at my bike or ride it. Or eat cookies. Or all three.

Do you start wrapping near the stem and then go backwards? I think most folks wrap the other way, yes?

I love wrapping bars. A nice wrap job makes the bike look nicer overall. A crappy wrap job looks lazy and makes you wonder how much attention was paid to the rest of the bike.

Also, I love wrapping from the stem down. No electrical tape looks so nice and clean.

most folks go the other way.

i dont rewrap normally, but i had a free moment and wanted to eliminate the little gap by the hoods.

*sigh* That Merlin . . .

I wrap once, and it stays there until I decide to the change it. I've also always found bar wrapping to be rather easy, which apparently is an anomaly?

Yea I have no clue who is who and the gender of everybody now.

I'm drinking some good chai, that's all that it matters now.

Ah, but that does not necessarily reveal one's gender.

Redid my tape today...trying out lizard skins dsp. Pretty awesome so far. Has the softness of cork with the grip of rubber.
