Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

@adriano have you gotten any credit from all the people that you referred? I have 15 invites but no credit I guess that means nobody bought anything?

I ordered these yesterday with the 10% code, nice deal. Does anyone know if PBK sends a shipping confirmation/tracking number? I haven't gotten one from them yet.

@youngandcurious - I got my new Turbo from Velomine. If you want an original, I have a black one from a paramount that's really worn.

Free shipping on the Rondels from the Mission Workshop website.

Coupon code: MERCADO

The Rondels, if you are unfamiliar, are way better than the newer, less expensive DZR line of shoes.

Found this on Pricepoint:
https://www.pricepoint.com/detail/166...ve-Trainer.htm

Cheaper than what I see on CL locally.
The question is how good is it? (looking for something I can use a few hours a week)

You do have a geared bike, right? Those kinds of trainers don't have variable resistance, so riding fixed is super boring. And not very effective.

I wouldn't really pay more than $50 for a trainer in general. I got mine on CL for $15, and it's been worth about that much to me. Some days when it's raining and I really wanna ride I'll sit on it and watch something on Netflix, but it mostly just sits there.

Trainers are boring.

Go to the website and scroll to the bottom where it has the IMBA banner. It's in there somewhere.
