Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I just sent him an e-mail saying that I was a Nigerian prince who rides a Leader, explaining how I would have offered to wire transfer him $20,000,000 if I weren't so offended.

it's super cheap and really clean. some people say mixtes are girls bikes, and maybe they're right. I personally think they're pretty neat. I say go for it. If you don't, you might regret it and that will really rustle your jimmies.

To back up the girls bike claim though, it is 48cm. 19" x 2.54 = 48.26cm. I hope you're aware.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm short so the frame size is okay. It does look really clean, I don't really need another bike but I don't own anything with gears.

I'll call and see what's up.

Edit: Turns out it's a newer Chinese made frame. I was hoping for a like-new, older Japanese frame. Still a good deal but I might keep searching CL for a Miyata.
