I noticed yesterday that they now have a link on the site to directly send them your info without unsing an email. I did this, too, because who knows what will become of the original emails. You should try this, too, I would suggest.

Are any of the other NY chain owners mildly pissed that we're gonna get a molly lock instead of the new disc, based solely on whether we tell krypto that we have the chain or just the EV disc lock? I know i am.

But the zip ties and firearms seem to be working so far. I'm thinking about printing out [165]'s pic of the nam sniper and shellac-ing it to the frame, to see how safe that makes would be theives feel.

If you check the last page of the sticky thread about krypto over in general discussion, local expert and veteran Raiyn explains it in condescending detail.

edit: https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...&page=38&pp=25

scroll till you see the pretty colors.

I'm still waiting for the damn stickers. Where are the stickers?

And s2sxii - we actually don't have a laminator - that's outsourced... Sorry.

Oh, no! Sorry! This was not a response to your post!

I was referring to Kryptonite. I have still not received anything from them.
Waiting...

no , no. singular: one zip tie. thats all theyd need. most are in wheelchairs after their amputations and so they weigh more. make sense now? next time please use the search function.

oops i should have clarified: they weigh less according to appendage count but more if you consider the cyborgian appendage (wheelchair). but we are measuring rotational intimidation and clout factors anyway in which case they are several kelvin beyond the mean and another kelvin if the zip tie is deep forged. but please use the search function because i am wasting valuable time when you could be answering this by yourself!

Received the same one. Thought that was lame and so I called them telling them that it was moronic that I have to send in my lock and then wait without a lock until they send me the new lock, instead of giving me the option to prepay and then refund me once they receive my lock.
They then apologized and asked me if I wanted a free cable lock. I said "yes please" and then they took my address. Not that it offers any real protection, but better than nothing, and after all it is the thought that counts, right?

A free cable lock sounds like a nice consellation at least. I got the above message, too. I'll try for the cable, too. As it is, I spent 10 bucks yesterday on another Kryptonite lock to swap out on my NYC chain.

yep, I regged up for the exchange as well. Prolly wont take up the cable lock deal though ince I have that heavy-arse onguard to hold me over.

...I also built a dislike for the offest keyhole on the onguard keys...they make it so the key always sits at an angle in my pocket, digging into my thigh...not my can of redbull right there.

heh, gotta wait i guess...mid oct is what 2 weeks off...no biggie.
