brooks bar tape

Is it worth it? It feels good on the hands and looks good. But is it worth $60-90 ? does it outlast the cheaper rolls of tape?

I heard they make they bar tape from the cuttings from making saddles which they otherwise throw out... and then do some trade secret whatnot to it.

I ended up getting a free set from an ex bike mechanic and as much as I appreciate it, would I have boughten it to begin with? No, probably not. It does feel good though, but not $60-$80 good.
