Question regarding wheelsets and what not

I am trying to wrap my head around a wheelset and am getting quite confused. Perhaps the community can help me set things straight.

I currently have a nice gold purple colro scheme going, and I would like to continue that to the wheelset. I think a nice set of gold hubs, black laced to black, white, or purple rims would look the best.

After discovering this set from velocity I have been affixed to a 24 spoke setup. Noting that those hubs are 36 hole hubs laced to 24 hole rims.

I am currently waiting to hear from my LBS about a set of Velocity Fusion in 24 hole, but I wanted to know if that wheelset has a custom drilled 24 hole pattern?

Also, upon noting that the hubs are 36 hole, my options for finding a set of Gold Hubs becomes very narrow (noting that I am in no need for a $400 set of Phill Wood hubs)... I did however find a 36 hole hubset on ebay, from Miche, but it looks as though the 90mm/100mm width isn't correct for my Kilo needing 100mm/120mm... Does Miche make a 36 hole gold hubset like this in 100mm/120mm?

I can't seem to find a sub $300 hubset with 36 holes at 100mm/120mm spacing in either purple or gold... Perhaps I'll have to settle for a black set.

I'd go for that set of Miche, they are definitely legit just buy spacers to put in between the cones and the lock buts.

Label on the box reads 32h, might want to be careful.

HO HOOO! $.05 cheaper than my cap... but I would still love to find a set that isn't so pricey...

"sir

listing is for 36 hole ?so that is what they are"

Before I go ahead and get them, can anybody clarify that Miche makes Gold 36 hole hubs?

Dunno about gold, but they do make 36h. I have a hubset of 36h

That seller sounds like a dick, I'd avoid him based solely on that.

+2 And the hubs pictured are 32h. You should reply back telling him you are going to notify ebay over the misrepresentation of the item.

EDIT: Done.

Just wanted to follow up on how ridiculous this eBay seller is:

my responce to him:
"Dear italtecno1,

considering on your ad you have wrote "ACTUAL
PHOTO BELOW" then I am going to have to say there
is something wrong.

If you actually have a set of 36 hole GOLD hubs I
am interested, otherwise your listing is
incorrect"

His reply:
"Sir
I have told you directly …these are 36 hole hubs.
You like to call me a lier ….go ahead
ON MY DESK IS A SET OF MICHE X-PRESS HUBS - THAT BEING A FRONT AND A REAR - 36 HOLE - GOLD COLOR
THAT IS ALL I CAN DO

Please tell with 25k of feedback over 10 years what caribbean island I am going to run away to for the rest of my life supported by your 100 USD for a hubset.
I mean really …..

You have how many options here to protect yourself . Through ebay protection plan and paypal disputes center.

Buy or do no buy ….up to you

You want 100 or 1000 set of gold colored 36 hole hubsets from Miche ….all you need to do is just ordered from them ….it is not hard
If Miche makes Silver / Black / Red / Blue - 28/32/36 hole hubs and 32 in gold ….you think it is hard for them to make 36 hole in gold?

sorry …but enough on this one

have a good day "

It is very frustrating not to be able to find another source for a 36 hole gold Miche hubsets. Regardless of my desire for these hubs, I'll definitely steer away from this guy

By counting the holes shown in the pic and guessing where the hidden ones would be, I'd say those are 32h.

Funny, I bought my Ambrosio wheels from them for cheap and with no hassle. $215 offered and they took it.

Man, that's upsetting. You respond in a civil manner and get this written diatribe in response. He could've just said, "Oh man, you're right! The picture is different."

But decency isn't as common these days. Way to avoid getting screwed.

The seller seems like a complete ****** but I love this line. "Please tell with 25k of feedback over 10 years what caribbean island I am going to run away to for the rest of my life supported by your 100 USD for a hubset. I mean really …."

Hahaha, classic.

He is probably importing and exporting from his yacht anchored in the Caribbean.
