Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Do we really need to raise awareness when we're spending millions on bike lanes?
I think Vancouverites are pretty aware.

Actually...I agree with you, Aaron. Come to think of it, I don't know if I want to go to the next one, I'm quite content with what we have right now.

You mean the one you didn't really talk about, so everyone began talking about something else?

Bikes: '74 Schwinn Sports Tourer (Polo), S-Works E5 Team Festina (Chorus 11), Trek 2200 Bonded Carbon (Fixed), Trek 920 (7 speed IGH), Chesini Olimpiade SL (1x7)

I raced in an alleycat yesterday too.

After the second checkpoint my NDS crank arm fell off and the bolt was long gone, so I pedaled 7 miles off the course to my apartment with one leg on a 44x14 single speed mountainbike, switched bikes, and finished the race. Not DFL.
