Yeah there was. I didn't go, but I was getting calls from people telling me "You better not be in the group of ****heads weaving through traffic, blowing through lights and spitting on cars."

I mean, if there's no bike lane we get the car lanes right? But yeah, apparently here was a guy in the group who was being an idiot, and all the little middle school kids just decided that they were going to try to be cool too. The group actually got pulled over once or twice because so many people were calling the cops about them. My friends (the ones who see Critical Mass as a way to get people to become more bike aware) rode off in a different directions, but the other groups kept following them. I'm actually sort of glad I didn't go.

We had cops along the way, so we can't really do anything too extreme. Yea, masses generally doesn't give a good impression to other people but it is a way to raise awareness about it. I'm not going to go any further...don't want to cause a commotion.
