How to compare bikes?

Hi,
at the moment I'm considering of buying a fixie since some man with tool snapped my Favourite Special conversion from backyard. Sorry, the fore mentioned ******* might have been female too.

Anyway, havent bought new bike for 15 years. What should I bee checking?
BB should be high so pedals wont hit the ground
Holes for mudguards? I live in Finland so they would be nice
Part quality?

I have these three bikes for around 500, Premium Ale is bit more expensive, around 600.
Boroughs doesnt come with pedals, them would be around 40 more.

Cheers ichijiro, welcome to Forums.

In my experience, it's often cheaper to order bike stuff to Finland from German online shops. Are the bikes you're interested in available only in the UK or is there some other particular reason why you want shop there?

There is several reason,
I dont speak german.
GB shops (Wiggle / Evans) we're first I found online with reasonable price, selection and UI.
If you know decent German shops with complete bikes I'd like to know.

Many Germany based sites have English as a language choice too. I've had only good experiences with Roseversand.de, including their personal customer service (in English, via e-mail), but I think they only sell their own Red Bull brand of bikes. Here's a thread with some pointers to other online bike shops in Europe. :

I have no idea which ones sell those particular bikes, you'll have to check that yourself.

Most usefull looking and cheapest drop bar bikes is still evans cycles were
Rocky Mountain Borough took the lead.

Didn't find any sub 650 € complete bikes (delivered) from German online shops.
Note to self, dont write to internet when drunk.
