Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

What is the difference between these two wheelsets?

I was browsing through Velomine and saw that one of the monthly specials was of this wheelset: https://www.velomine.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1017

I noticed another wheelset on the site that seemly is exactly the same here: https://www.velomine.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=884

I see that one has a flipflop hub, but otherwise they look the same. Is that the only difference? Sorry about the rookie question.

one says fixed/free, other fixed/fixed.
pretty much same hub, just one has a true "flip flop" hub. although you can run a freewheel on a fixed hub just fine, as long as there is enough threading.
the flip flop hub one is cheaper anyway.
