HAVE YOU EVER HAD THICK CUT BACON**********? It is infinitely better than regular bacon. Also, farm raised organic eggs are really, really good. It sucks that they're $4 for a carton of 12, though. |
dang it, now I am really hungry!

Yeaaahh. Roosters are a pain. They do sound nice every once in a while, but not constantly.
But yes, I have 5 lay hens. Had six, but one was just eaten by a coyote. |
I usually just try to get Bacon that has more meat than fat on it.. thick cut Bacon is so expensive!
|
Thick cut and regular are totalllyyyyyyyy different.

Alien makes a good crankset and it's like $80 now.

I had a margherita slice and a chicken parm slice earlier tonight. They were both ****ing delicious.
Then again, when is pizza ever bad? |
|
Speaking of pizza... who lives in NYC? Artichoke Pizza anyone?

Last night we made tuna melts (but not your average tuna melts). Grilled, thinly-sliced bluefin steaks on freshly-baked sourdough toast with jalapenos, tomatoes and cheddar cheese. It was a lot of prep but hot damn, well worth it. |
mmm dark chocolate covered goji berries
|
I've been real stoked on cooking with goat cheese lately.
Those alien cranks look pretty rad. I'll have to do some reading. |
