it's a brandname v. generic issue, sure orgin8 makes some things but for the most part they brand generic parts, some people don't mind generics, some people order from sellers continents away to avoid generic products,
even though the item is essentially the same it's the generic version and therefore should be cheaper? i had an orgin8 chainring, thing was practically melting off after 6 months, i accepted it because it was a generic product i bought cheaply, if i had a formula hub in similar degrade after 6 months i would have felt comfortable going back to the shop or directly to the manufacturer and asking the situation to be remedied, but that's because they're a company who's hubs i've relied on for years, not a company that got a good price on hubs from a company ive relied on for years
