Eighth Inch Double Straps

$30 for these isn't bad, especially if I combine it with something else and use that Eighth Inch likeathon coupon. How do they stack up against other lower priced double straps like All City, Origin8, Exustar/Wabi, etc?

Leather rots after a year or two. Even faster if you leave it out in the rain. Id go with a nylon strap like the holdfast straps for a longer lasting all weather strap.

if they are anything like origin8's they are garbage. mine stretched constantly. i switched to platforms and holdfast and the setup is great. my brother has catalina straps from bikeage! and loves them.

I've actually had a great experience in leather. I had some old Campy leather straps, and they lasted a good 3-4 years. If you end up getting them be sure to check up on them after rain, water, etc. I had mine snap while riding and it was a mess.....

Now that I have them all set up and adjusted, I really love the catalinas

Get the ones by Cadence. 2x the price, but worth it. There is a kevlar strap sandwiched between 2 suede layers. If that thing ever fails or rips.. then you got some mighty strong legs/feet
