Blow to fixed gear riders in NC...

The state has decided not to allow sales of 190 proof grain alchohol any more.
They decided it has no redeeming social value.

I think it's an underhanded attack on the alley cat kool aid.

This really is a shame. It's a trend that's spreading around the country. I'm thinking of stocking up before the ban hits Iowa.

It's North Carolina. Don't they make their own moonshine there?

In other news:

"The process of making moonshine in Tennessee is now legal. Laws changed last summer and one company is banking on a booming business."

By 'dangerous' you mean 'effective'?

In the grand ol' state of Michigan we just saw a triple-ban of Four Loko, salvia AND K2. Feels so bad man.

that must be their kids' version, as the same product (at least the 190 proof version) is also on the NC ban list. apparently the state ABC did a sales analysis and found that the vast majority of this stuff was sold at stores near to college campuses.

go figure.

on the plus side, they are allowing the existing stock to be sold and a lower proof version of everclear (151 proof) to remain. and yes, there are already a couple commercial corn liquors (ie: moonshine) on the market.

i'm a beer man, myself.

18.25%, and each can is basically 12 oz (375 ml).

So if you down a whole can it's kinda like 1 fourloko in terms of alkyhol.
