HED3 Conversion

Hey guys, I was wondering if my HED3 can be converted from rear freehub to use on my front. Cause couldn't you just take off that freehub and put on spacers and a front axle and put it on the front? Please let me know. Thanks!

Because I'd rather not accidentally mess anything up.

it doesnt take much to take off a freehub body. just look it up and keep the parts in the order you removed them.

Have you contacted HED or searched their website for an answer?

Ask in the Triathlon forum. More people there have them than in this forum. Remember, it was made for time trials, not fixed gear riding.

Judging by the threading on the outside of the freehub body, it is using an early version Shimano freehub body, in which case, the drive side bearings are in the freehub body so you cannot remove it and still use the wheel.
You would probably have issues getting the rim centered at 100mm OLD.
