Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I like these kinds of straps. I know a few people that use Hold Fast and I find them more comfortable than clips and straps, so I say go for it

Yup; his running 10 of them at once in the front.

I have hold fasts and I'm loving them! I've also heard the cheaper BLAQ straps are good aswell.

BUT I would give the ones at bikeage a look before buying the ones above^ as they're dirt cheap and they look just as durable as any of those mentioned above, if not more. I know for sure I'm getting a set of these once my $60+ hold fasts die.

Move your cleats so your shoe doesn't jam into the end of the clip when the cleat is engaged.

yep. Then I solved everything all together by going to SPDs. Though I find myself unclipping during skids more then I like.
