Are they using the ipad as the car stereo? I've been wanting to do this in my truck, but last time I looked into it (about a year ago) it was still a giant hassle to do so.

The airport express airplay over stereo via AUX hack is pretty awesome, not mention easy and cheap.

Hmm, I should look that hack up...although, my current kenwood unit does bluetooth, but it just doesn't sound as nice as when i plug my phone in.
I would love to get rid of the headunit completely and just put an ipad mini in the dash.

I haven't personally done it but have friends who have done it.
These guys put up a good and easy to follow instructional video rather recently:
It's on my to do list though.
Heck, my sti doesn't even have bluetooth but a hacked in male to male AUX cable to the back of the stock deck for some of that analog goodness.

First and foremost what I don't like about your bike is the fact that it's a car. Also I'd appreciate it if you paid more attention to the task at hand, rather than iPads and AirPlay while driving. Okay, so it not your "bike", but nevertheless WTF???

No brakes, handle bar position, chain tension, crank bros pedals, wing nuts on the front wheel and not on the back, light mounts.
Can you tell I'm being picky? For not good reason?
Looks a nice ride, not for me but still a nice ride.

Thanks for the opinions guys, I think it turned out o.k for a parts bin/super tight budget build. I will be changing the chain because its half link and black, neither of witch I like. I also got my hands on a 1" carbon fork so that will be going on as soon as the headset etc gets delivered.

Fork is a LHT fork. I broke a brake boss on my original CC fork, and this is what warranty sent me. Keep saying to get it painted, but that was 5 years ago, so I don't think its happening lol.

I got the frame and fork as a gift, but the forks have been cut very short and i am having trouble finding a threaded headset with a low enough stack to fit the fork. (at the min i have to keep checking that the headset hasn't come loose after every ride because the lock nut is only on by a few threads) A guy in work gave me a 1" carbon fork which he bought for a project but never used so i am going to throw them on until i sort out a threaded headset. I would like to keep the original frame and forks together in the long term or get another steel fork sprayed to match.

Also foot retention ... unless it is a SS, it looks fixed.
Dunno why, but when I look at that photo, the thought creeps in, "it'll be nice when it's finished", can't nail down why though, unless it's the saddle angle and the foot retention.
