The principle for the 735 is for it to be much lighter than the rest of leader's line up; the lightest of their track frames. It has much thinner tubing than that of the 725, hence the lighter weight but there comes a tradeoff of durability. Last year they were notoriously known for a easily dentable down tube. They were designed for more track racing than street riding.
Not sure of the changes/ improvements because I do not care enough for the new 735 to go and research it because of the lack of last year's track ends. THE LEADER TR735 IS SO OVER!!!!! |
yeah i saw that too. 4 lbs isnt exactly light.
|
Hmm it's different from the previous generation then, more durable I guess.... well now you know that I didn't research it ahaha.

Any fork with a standard-sized crown is going to look wonky when paired with the oversized head tube on Aluminum Leaders. There is a slightly less expensive carbon solution - with the correct rake - right on the horizon. :innocent:

Hub/Skewer help
I need help finding a good axle/skewer and spacer combo to fit this:
http://img857.imageshack.us/img857/6864/img0159yk.jpg on my i806TR. Help? It's supposedly an American Classic hub, and I've had 0 luck finding anything that looks like it could be what I need. |
Hmm, doesn't this method of radial lacing weakens the spokes as they go in the hub?
Nevermind....http://spokeanwheel.110mb.com/lacingrl.htm Back to answering your question, you should email or call American Classic for spacers. |
|
Please tell me that the distributor finally came through.
|
I grabbed those Noodles off the shelf but supposedly the RB-002s will be here in early July!

needs more lens flare

I know...bad pic. I took it in bright sunlight using a "toy camera"-type app on my phone.
|
I like the look of welds... especially if they're well done

What bottom bracket size and crankset would go good with the 725tr Leader frame?...
|
The BB spindle length depends on the crankset being used, not the frame.
Are we talking about older versions of the 725 or the 2011 model? Not all cranksets are compatible with some older versions and if you have a V2, cranks like Omniums, Sram S300s and Sugino 75s may not clear the chainstay. |
It's the 725 tr v2 2010(51cm)...

So, it's a Mash that's not made with Columbus tubing? I hope it's cheap.
edit: http://www.theriotclub.com/wp-conten...li-7440351.jpg http://cyclonesia.files.wordpress.co.../mg_6225_1.jpg |
The tubeset is different but it's made of 7005-T6 aluminum, which is what the MASH is made of.
|
I said Columbus, not 7005. How much will it cost?
|
And I edited my post. No idea.
|
it's gotta be less than a cinelli. i'm going to dub this the mash killer.
|
It looks nice but I wouldn't be caught riding that thing. I mean...it's not even Columbus!
