apparenty you are selling your rush? after your epic build thread from a few mos back? all that hassle to get that bike right & now you are going dump it for some kind of leader?
i hate to be the one to say it, but...
you are either one of those guys that has more money than bike sense or else you have a need to be a part of the cult of personality
have fun & good luck...

Scrodzilla 12-08-11 05:50 PM

I'll bite :D

I guess you learned nothing about my indecisiveness from that thread. I'd hardly call that build epic, deep Vs and omniums seem like a pretty standard build and something that's easily moved from frame to frame :)

And even if that "raw" was my frame (it's not but I got a pretty blue one too!), it costs a whopping $200 for the frame and fork, even if I worked at wal mart with you I'm sure I could scrounge that up in 2 weeks. Where were you when I bought my Mash to call me out! You can do better than a black friday deal to call me an idiot

I'm not wiping my ass with $100 bills or I'd keep the Rush, but I can only ride one bike at a time, so I'm trying to get down to 2 bikes, maybe 3 frames. Rather than keep them around like wall art / cred.

markaitch 12-08-11 06:42 PM

good luck with your new build hamfoh, hope it works out well & that you are able to ride it for a while :thumb:

great post homebrewk...please, feel free to continue your postwhoring...

maybe if you post a few more cute gifs you can feel better about your own need to belong to the group...

Thank you, brotha *desmond voice*

Being nice (or even a nice smart ass) and part of the community is a lot easier than it seems, you know. If I'm giving someone a hard time ever, it's in fun 99.9998% of the time. It's just as easy (and I think more fun) as being a Debbie Downer! I promise.

that setback post might prove to be an issue, didn't expect the rails on this saddle to be brooks like small

You do need some foot retention though.

I do. My Draft, which will be my winter bike once I get the wheels trued and the lock ring tightened, has clips/straps on it. My bike spending is on hold until after Christmas, I will have retention on the 722 before Spring for sure.

crackrocksteady 12-10-11 04:26 PM

slick, ddead. Seriously considering scooping one of these up as my next frame...

a 47 would be perfect, but a 49 is manageable... barely

will probably replace the seatpost soon. if anyone has a straight one, we'd trade

Looks really nice dude, I actually like the mostly silver components.

hamfoh 12-11-11 04:07 AM

wasn't ready to drop $100 on a 31.8 set of track drops so I'm doing the 100mm X4 atm. did not expect this kind of rise out of it. I'll probably end up throwing it under a spacer once I'm done

also trying out my first 172.5 crank arms
