Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I know you love Bikkhu's Sannino Fixie so much. Guess what American Cyclery in S.F. has one in 55cm. Same color too.

Damn, I wish I small enough to fit 55cm cuz Bikkhu's bike looks awesome.

Marriage proposal to Bikkhu.....priceless

I need to find one of those Sanninos myself in 58cm with funky stem to boot.

Bikes: 2 fixies, 1 road, 29er in the works.

55 would kill me. I'm more of a 58. Though, in spandex, I look a lot slimmer. Wanna see?

Besides.. I've got something similar only different on the way....

Yeah I'm a 58cm also (sometimes 60cm). I've been looking all around the internet for one of those only to find out there was one for sale in my backyard.....too bad it's 55cm.

And the price $1100....Ouch. But the style points for something like that almost make it worth it!

I found a similar stem at a LBS here in Sacramento. I'll drop by today and get the price.

On thinking and some advice from people: I've found that some of these cool looking bikes wouldn't actually preform. Some of them are cobbled together bikes that were built for one race or so.. and really couldn't handle constant use. Not a lot, but many. So sometimes you pay for a look and a cool name but don't really get.. something that works.

Of course, that said I'm riding a fixed made from and an old tired bianchi road frame, and it's still more bike that I am rider.
