If you're getting Egg beaters i would really recommended getting the Candys specifically the candy 3s as whole crank brothers line got revamped last year and hugely improved.

the old crank brothers pedals, especially the cheap ones, were prone to blowing up.


If your looking to get something on the cheap I'd recommended Shimano M520s they at least have dual cartridge bearings instead of crappy bushings.
