OT (a little) Visibility

So when it comes to your jackets and such, do you go for visibility? I ask because I am getting a showers pass rain jacket for my Bday (YAY big 30 ) and I am having a hard time getting out of my preference for darker clothes. More and more these days I lean towards more safety but its still a little hard to go yellow... I am leaning towards the goldenrod but the black is so sharp looking...

Anyway just wondering...

You could always get some reflective tape and throw it on the back (Make a cool design?). I am still young and invincible. What is (are) the jacket you are looking at though?

I'm not knocking reflective stuff, at night its very effective, but a solid highly visible color is needed for daytime and low light conditions.

I like my annoying yellow PI wind shell. It's so bright it almost seems like it's battery powered.

I thrifted a sweet Asics windbreaker a while back that is all kinds of hot pink and whatnot. It's so bright you can hear me coming.

I have a canari black jacket with reflective piping. I'm just not a safety yellow kind of guy.

No one honks or yells, byproduct of sweet satin-jacket cred.

My bag has a big reflective strap on the back, And my wind breaker has a reflective flag hanging to the left of my shoulder.

I have them... Its more for the PDX winters. My mom and my girlfriend are collaborating (they wanted to know what I wanted for my 30th within reason)... I really wanted a new jacket, or some sidi shoes. the jacket made more sense, so i asked for the showers pass elite 2.0. just not used to wearing not dark colors.
