Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

It just looks really nice.

I also like Dimension/Kalloy/OEM stems I find at the co-op, $5 a pop, couldn't ask for more.

I have had good luck with 3ttt 4gxl stems. They aren't super light, but are pretty dang stiff and very inexpensive.

Dang, $5 a pop for a Dimension. I've been on the look out for a cheap 70-80mm stem that doesn't look like crap for what seems like forever.

I like the looks of Thomsons, Deda Zeros, and the Nitto UI-5GX.

Dang, you beat me to it! Saw one at my local Co-Op and after feeling it I knew I had to have it.

I really like it so far. I'll get some pics once I get the top of my steerer cut to make it flush.

Alter looks so freaking awesome and industrial on it's own, but on bikes I like the look of understated components. I like my Ritchey Pro stem a lot but I had to take off the logos, they were overwhelming!

My favorite, favorite out of all disciplines of cycling.

My favorite for fixed:
The trusty thomson elite.

The deda zero 100 looks great too! I think I'll have to get one of my own eventually.
