Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Didn't see the fork crown when I posted, it's a little obscured by the brake. Mostly just wanted to make an airplane reference

I was going to say something like, "What happened to the purple hub CXP22's?" and then I read your pedalroom:
"Then I decide to change the parts on the bikes ad infinitum."

I want to try some FSA Compacts with hoods. Maybe sometime this summer...

That stem is horrid, though.

To convert or not to convert that is the question.

Got this in the mail this morning. Interesting features include 24" clincher front wheel, Nitto "AeroDynamics" bullhorns(?), MKS AR-3 Pedals. Cosmetics aside its in really good shape. Took it for a few laps around the block and it was far less uncomfortable than I was expecting.

ALL HAIL INDESTRUCTO-BIKE!

This bike is so fun. Frame is straight-gauge cromoly, oversized tubes, double wishbone rear triangle, looptail rear end with plate dropouts. Not for the weight weenie crowd.

It's very fun taking shortcuts by bombing down dirt and grass hills and flying off curbs and stairs with reckless abandon.

Got it for a song on CL.

It used to be black on older models with the aero down tube, not sure when they made the switch.
