From a short ride with my dad tonight:
I love my bike. It was inexpensive and it gets me where I need to go.
BTW, sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. It was all I had on me.

Thanks Scrod, good to know. And sorry to bother you again, but what types of fenders will fit on the frame? I just need something cheap and effective.

Your cog is slipping.
No problem! Hopefully yours in in better shape than mine.
Any of the Planet Bike (or similar) fenders will fit without any problem.

actually, my frame was in worse condition, so I had to spray paint it. But it was free, so no complaints! Seems like there are a lot of these bikes (still) around.

Finally got my damn camera back. Quick shot of the whip.
Built it for a gf who broke up with me before it was finished, then got MY bike stolen, so this became mine.

Yeah, well it would have been built up tonight and pictures would have followed if my stupid LBS had the tools to cut the steerer tube. The dude asked if I had the tools to do it and if I did he could then finish it. If I had the tools I would have done it myself.

Probably would have been cheaper for you to go buy a pipe cutter anyways.

Well, I didn't have a headset press either. I am baffled how a shop doesn't have the tools to cut a steerer tube. Am I to believe that in the years they have been open no one has ever needed a steerer tube cut? This town really is a hole.
