I only smoke the green when riding my MTB offroad (not often), and I only drink and ride when I know I'll be on the MUP.

Squirrelli 04-11-11 07:16 PM

I confess, I can't tarckstand clipped in.

Dannihilator 04-11-11 07:27 PM

I'm going to be going without a mtb from now on.

it helps me manual through the rollers on my favorite singletrack trail.

avner 04-12-11 03:08 PM

I have a hard time deciding between bike parts and basic needs in life.

Like Underwear and Sox Vs trying to get the GT butterball *drools* on Craigslist.

Yeah whatever.

i will be moving in with my girlfriend when we get engaged in the near future (shes the one with the house) and i already have plans drawn out to build a "bike barn" on the side of her house to hold our 6 bikes. 5 of which are mine. I think step dad is stoked to help build it lol

I laughed when you said "barn", then I saw your location now it all makes sense. =P

Retem 04-12-11 07:10 PM

the nerd in me has been quite smitten with the fabric horse utility belts for some time and I finally broke down and bought won

nuhtowel 04-12-11 07:46 PM

I really want to start mountain biking again, but I don't have the money to put together a set up that I won't destroy in a couple weeks (like the last 2)

Squirrelli 04-12-11 08:14 PM

i confess, i enjoy walking just as much as riding my bike. I like looking at the surroundings, little birdies, little squirrels, fellow pedestrians, dogs and other great things I see.

I just can't find a walking forum that I like...

This is so surreal.

Dannihilator 04-12-11 09:24 PM

I'm running mismatching tires on the 930 atm.

Relyks 04-12-11 09:36 PM

Confession- I ride single speed right now cause I'm scared to ride fixed.

Dannihilator 04-12-11 09:41 PM

It's not for everyone, but it should be something to try before making a decision, it is perfectly fine to run a front and rear brake on a fixed gear.

ImChris 04-12-11 11:06 PM

Sometimes I buy bike parts for the looks. I have a Trek T1 with a decently light wheelset. I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to rock some deep v's on it though. It would add some weight to the wheels, which would suck, but i think it would make me even more pumped to ride it. (although i ride like 25 miles a day or so anywho already...but still haha)

i'm riding fixed now and forever and never riding singlespeed again... cuz i'm scared to ride ss.

frantik 04-13-11 09:18 PM

^ do you mean brakeless or just SS in general?

Dannihilator 04-13-11 09:30 PM

I confess that my favorite bike as of now is my ugliest bike.

JoshuaaXDD 04-13-11 09:30 PM

I confess that I love things that require a lot of maintenance.

Also a big confession, I haven't ridden in over two weeks because I bought another car and I actually enjoy it.

ss in general. i only had one brake on it, tho, so that was what made it scary. but i have a cog so i preferred flipping it than investing in a rear brake. especially since i like the control of my feet to slow the rear wheel.

this is the only time i've ever ridden ss in my life and it lasted... 8 days.

cc700 04-13-11 10:25 PM

i confess that i really want to make myself put a brake on one or both of my fixed gears but i can't

have you ridden other bikes with freewheels? that's crazy to think of people who ride bikes a lot but aren't comfortable on a traditional bike.. i guess i could see how it might feel like you are "out of control" if you're used to a fixed gear
