BikesDirect Newsletter
Is anyone on this? Is it worth joining? The only reason I ask is I'm wondering if they will ever get new shipments of bikes in cause I'm in the market and some options that would be my first choices of color have been out for a while it seems. Are they just in between seasonal shipments? Or do they just say that newsletter thing so people don't rage?

I thought BF was the newsletter and R&D dept.

So there's no use in waiting for some newsletter that will likely never come, and I should settle on whatever is available is what I got out of this.

In other words, don't play the waiting game with BD. If they don't have what you want now, then look elsewhere. They recently told me in an email that it would be six months or more until they get more Team Track frames in. I don't think it will ever happen.

BikesDirect is like the guy you buy weed off of. He's not cool, he's always late, you can NEVER count on him to do something he says he will, he's pretty much an idiot. However, he has what you want, and so you ignore the fact that he's a moron to get it, he's never stolen your money or anything.

I subscribed and received a "newsletter" 3/31. The only news was what bikes had been restocked, but if that's what you're looking for, go ahead and sign up. It would be nice if they told you what was on the way, so you'd know weather to wait a couple of weeks or buy eleswhere, but that's not the way they do things.

As lots of newsletters have gone out in the last 4 months
and I know people get them as
1 - I am on the list on my personal email and I see them
2 - sales of items on newsletter are clear when the newsletter goes out
At this time of year lots of new stuff is going on site and in newsletter
and lots of normal items are being restocked and often that goes on newletter to
Of course, once on the list you can always opt out latter
We do not send spam to customers; so no promotions go out unless you are on the list
BTW - this fall lots of deals will go out to newsletter 'members' only - kinda like a group buy; and these will include not only bikes but deals on wheels; frames; cranks; etc
here is link https://www.bikesdirect.com/deals/

I sign up to the newsletter when I am interested in buying, otherwise I unsubscribe. They aren't annoyingly frequent and its useful if the things you are interested in are out of stock. I'm interested in building or buying a new MTB...a really nice one that I can ride for a long time....but I am not in a hurry. I don't know if I'll go with a BD bike, but I can tell you that when I decide to pull the trigger on something new, what they have in stock will factor heavily into my decision.
