Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

Skip your ride? That is just wrong. Wear more clothing. It is completely possible to bike all the way to 40 below - stopping for weather is just wrong. 52 degrees has been around the high out here lately...

For what it's worth, I was born and raised in northern California (Vacaville) until I moved to MT.. Now it's Minneapolis...

Don't stop riding because of the weather.

Vacaville!....no wonder you moved and drink so much.

I think you are forgetting that a sizeable draft is required from your savings to your checking in order to cover the purchase of the many ice cold drafts you purchase everyday.

I bought a bike online from germany and accidently overpaid by a hundred and forty bucks. It took 3 months but eventually I got a draft for the difference

there are 15 potential uses of the word draft as a noun
7 as verb and 2 as adjective. I think we have used 5 here

Further fuel for the fire....

Pie definitions:
1. A baked food composed of a pastry shell filled with fruit, meat, cheese, or other ingredients, and usually covered with a pastry crust.

2. A layer cake having cream, custard, or jelly filling.

This means all of our conversations about pie have been meaningless.......wait...well....nevermind.

They had meaning before you looked them up in the dictionary?

Meaning is naught but an imperfect, human interpretation of the truth!

Don't get me started, remember JJ? In regards to drunkenmiller (his name doesn't deserve capitalization) Walsh wanted to trade down then get J. Plummer but instead we got ol' drunken. Why we don't let God, I mean Walsh, handle every draft I'll never know...
