Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

someone should just invent a pedal that has a long carbon fiber foot bed on it, that way it doesn't matter what shoes you were because your stiff "sole" would already be attached to the pedal

Anyone else find the Asics Ultimate 81 to be really hot particularly for a nylon/mesh shoe. They don't feel like they breathe at all. Looking for a shoe like this that breathes well for summer.

I just picked up some DVS X Cadence Milan 2's. I just ruined a pair of jordan's riding in them and I'm not rebuying clipless + shoes just to do that again.
Brakeless 19/48 with straps...What's become of me?
