Today I:
Looks legit to me. I'd go with appetizer #26 to start and Pho #2 for the main, with a Vietnamese iced coffee to drink if they offer it.
Today, I started a gig at a new shop. Little independent thing in Evanston (north suburb that's much closer to home). I make more money, and sell better bikes. It's a Cannondale, Giant, All City, Stephens, and KHS dealer. It's nice seeing a shop full of tubulars, RED, Super Record, and Dura Ace. Customer came in with a Mavic Aksium front wheel that was out of true and had a broken spoke. Bought a new wheel, told us to trash the old one. If the Aksium isn't too far gone, The Rev-X will be retired Monday.

Pretty sure you're right.

Today I showed my sqrlfriend the "Victoria Pendleton- Cycling's Golden Girl" program.
Now she's asking me all these question about track racing and how she can start doing it.

My last gf is a real talent. She rode with the local fixed scene, and was stronger than nearly all the bros. That was Jan of 2011.
Now she is 4 points away from her cat2, and was the first women across the line at the Wolfpack Hustle LA marathon crash race last summer. I'm excited to see how well she does this year.

Nice man. If she gets into at and you both enjoy it, you can really kill two birds with one stone by spending quality time together and doing your riding.

Hahhaa. Yeah my gf was turned off by mens track cyclists because it was all about HUGE LEGS. Then I showed her Pendleton, and how you don't have to look like a man to be fast. She's super interested now. She's not much of a rider yet. I told her that I'd ride with her and get her basic riding skills up for this year, and next year we can talk about going to the track.
Today I sold my old road bike to a friend. I'll miss that bike.

Today I rode around on my brother-in-law's trek 1.2 for about an hour, getting accustomed to it before the crit later today. Love it. No trouble at all from the clipless pedals, it was much stranger letting the bike coast. Feels super fast. Very excited about later today. Will probably get shelled, but maybe not.
Today the weather wins, no riding for me. So instead I gave my biek a good cleanin'

Today I was passed by Chris Horner on my training ride. I rode for 3 hrs on the fg, 42/18t today.
I could tell he was definitely going easier than I was. Super smooth pedal stroke, high cadence, 0 upper body movement, relaxed shoulders, quiet demeanor. So Pro.
A part of me wanted to hit the gas so I could ride up next to him and be like "Chris, Chris, Chris Oh Emm Gee u da man!", but im sure he gets that all the time so I didn't bother him.

Did fun 80km on the fixed gear with some friends this morning, and did a brutal 70km on the mountain bike yesterday with friends. Had to shoulder the bike for 2km after we got stuck in deep mud, my bike seemed to weight twice as much more from that all the mud that was stuck in it. Walking in ankle deep mud in hard enough without a heavy bike, but we did find some rideable trails later on and things got better. Mountain biking is indeed fun as hell and sometimes quite punishing.
Took this picture after I got home, most of the dirt had fallen off already.

Today I: went to brunch at my fave brunch spot with my guy; watched as my friend's new Etsy shop selling indie nail polish sold out in 30 minutes (220 bottles); saw A Good Day to Die Hard; set up the free turntable a friend gave me.
So far, not so bad. Just wish it wasn't Sunday which means going back to work tomorrow, sigh.

Today I got some homework done, sat on the bike and practiced that whole clipping in/out thing with the new shoes and pedals, and generally lazed about. And our school alert system sent out messages about a robbery, making it the second one in two days by, reportedly, the same guy. Super.

Today I did a metric century with some of the bros.
Cliff, Jandro, Danvuquoc, TheRealFaux, and some other buddies. Was good. Now we're binge eating tacos and drinking many beers.

Today i saw my gfs cousins play in their youth orchestra @ carnegie hall, it was pretty badass.
Wish my days in orchestra afforded me kickass trips far away and meeting/playing/learning with the NY philharmonic orchestra
Jealous of you westies and your warmth, punishing cold winds today but i still wish i rode into the city. Express bus sux.

Today I redid the cables on my sqrl's roadie again, the 2nd time in 2 months just for kicks. Jagwire out, yokozuna reaction in. I only wish I knew about the stuff before I handed my red down to her. Soooo smooth and responsive. Not to mention the white really accents the bike.
Funny part is I did it with her at work and I'm not going to tell her either so she'll find out for herself.
