You're going to hear a lot of things about that here.

Mostly, "NOO don't do it MASH is overhyped and stupid and sold out our secret tarck society and its a dumb a frame that will probably break on you with a dumb design and I can't believe they call it a pursuit it's not even a real pursuit you just show less seatpost also did I mention it's dumb to ride brakeless and bomb hills that's so irresponsible I hate the MASH guys"

basically two dip****s made me late to work this morning because they wanted to check out my bike. not a lot of fixies out here

We had a cop around here say before we took off on a ride "if you mfers wanted trouble tonight, you found it. I can't wait until one of you runs a red light. I can't wait!"

wtf...

I just made breakfast for me and my wife; we had a kick when the first egg I cracked had 4 yolks, 2 full sized ones and a two that were about half the size of the others. Seriously the first time ever in my life that I cracked an egg like that. / random

Anyhow it's my day off and obviously we're going to do something bike related. :)

Woah. Weird!

While we are on the topic of breakfast, have you ever been to the Coffee Cup? It's on Wall St. between Herschel and Ivanhoe. Super good pancakes, eggs, and breakfast burritos! :D

avner 08-12-11 01:36 PM

I got track drops and I like it.

BY GOD YES. That's one of favorite places! It's a fun short 8 downhill minute bike ride or a less than 5 minute drive from our house in the country club/ muirlands area of la jolla; right by scripps park.

And oh yeah, I updated the zero speed thread with another contribution.

Oh, you live up by the country club? Sweet! I'm sure it's fun riding up the hill after Coffee Cup goodness... and thanks for updating that thread. I would contribute if I had a clue about how to work Photoshop.

Yup and I'm still cool because do not have a membership yet; although that might change as the golf addicts in the family, my father and my father in law, want to live with us (it's a very large house and they golf together since we met) and well go golfing everyday (old people for you aha); family perks through!
The ride's a tad on the brisker side but nothing too much to ruin the moment.

And don't worry about the photoshop stuff; you'll get the hang of it easily and I just do it for the LOLz.

I've heard their course is great, my grandparents belong their and whenever I'm in town we hit up the clubhouse for dinner. I've seen the golf course and it's really nice.

Wait, if I'm just a teen and I play golf does that make me old?

Today I signed up for the California Climate Ride. And I will be helping raise money for local Organizations. Help out my efforts by donating small amounts of money or large.
Every little bit helps

and help spread the word. :)

Today I smoked a bowl before I came to work and then less than an hour later I had a massive burrito for lunch.
I am regretting this decision, as I'm about to pass the **** out at my desk.

Weird, a friend of mine made eggs this morning and the first one she cracked open had a baby chicken inside! :O

Today I sat in a hot sticky car all day while my boyfriend drove us to Idaho. I'm excited to get some sun and wear shorts and dresses. It doesn't get much warmer than 70 where I live, and the sun doesn't come out very often..

That's pretty stupid.

Well today I went with my wife to mission bay again by bike. Relatively few little people for a summer friday.

Nice; have you ever tried filipino balut?
Nevertheless, although a bit a bit morbid at first; they taste really good.

Nah; just say you're their for the golf carts.
Nonetheless they should be relatively hipster free with a strict dress code. Yeah I got some brochures from them when I moved in.

Nope, I'm a strict vegetarian so that's crossing the line for me. :p
I'm sure it's tasty though. I've had veal and baby rabbit before; baby meat does taste really good.

Ha! I'll remember to do that.

Like I said earlier, the clubhouse is awesome. If you can fork over the dough you should join. And yes, it certainly isn't a hipster hotspot. :p

Today I tried getting ambidextrous (ambipedal?) at tarck stands. I almost ate concrete on several occasions :( When I do get the hang of it I won't have to pedal an extra 3' forward if I get to a stoplight on the wrong foot.

The deposit is ridiculous; it's $350k + membership dues; that's the amount of some people's houses! I could join but unfortunately me and my wife cannot justify the price tag while I am working on my doctorate and she has 2 jobs (they're both white collar and the other is her passion and has a varied schedule [modeling!]). Like I said above, I'll just wait for our old folks to join and muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch. :D
