Finally almost done with the most brutal semester I've had yet. Five calc based classes, my last required foreign language course, and a pretty intense NASA run mission design course are almost out of the way.
Picking up a set of Rb-002's from yummygooey, some Deda mistral bartape, and guidonnet levers from Veloorange to celebrate the summer right, when its finally over.

alternated black/silver spokes on each side of the flange, which resulted in paired spokes around the wheel...black/black..sil/sil...
black spokes have silver nips, silver spokes have black nips.
on the rear, i went 2x all the way around, with silver spokes/black nips driveside and black spokes/silver nips non-drive....!

I got a windows8 laptop 2 weeks ago. I wanted to downgrade to 7, but after messing with it for awhile, it's not so bad. Still, if I had to use it daily, I'm not sure how I would feel.
You can pry my macbook pro from my cold dead hands.

No, man, it was a 100mi not a 1000. I kid, it was tough, but I'll do it again.

Today I gave samsung my monies for a s4. Yup, my first android phone.
Funny, I would expect most jeers from people who have **** machines facing the reality of having to upgrade hardware.
I actually love windows 8. You can't beat my 10 second cold boot ups w/ SSD and 14 without.

I wish this had a SSD. I guess Windows 8 is alright but I'm not into this "app" frenzy. I have to find out how to lock out some of these touchpad commands because it is really getting in the way.
i just installed an SSD on my three year old desktop. it's great but i don't think my startup is as fast as windows 7 can do. i didn't go into the bios at all so it's probably not well optimized.

As soon as I can figure out how to transfer pics from my camera to the nook(not likely going to happen), I'm ditching the computer.

Give it a chance to settle in. I rather enjoy a good number of the new features. And I can't think of any I miss.

It depends on other hardware too. Try upgrading your RAM to at least 4gbs. I have a 6 year old gaming build with intel's first ever quad core chip running windows 8 like a champ.

I don't know how I got along before ssd's. they're a real game-changer.
It's kinda like a mac, except you can right click, there isn't a command key, and people actually make software for it.

Just finished off a pound of dried mango. Feeling pretty parched.
