if you respond, just maintain her as an after thought. don't you dare get cozy again!

today I did our group ride (20-25 miles) with PW/H+Son setup on the soma. first long distance ride with them outside of an uncomfortable ride on the 725. so much <3 for them

Sorry...I am not targeting you in particular, I don't target at anyone.

I just wanted to use a crying .gif.

As I said, I really don't target anyone and 90% of the stuff I say are terrible jokes. Sorry if I offended you multiple times.

Feel free to put me on the ignore list.

Today I almost *****ed about how I got harassed by a pedestrian even though I actually stopped, which, mind you, comes one day after I get ticketed for doing a rolling stop.

However, I just looked at the posts above and...yikes.

Me neither.

@Scrod - Not to attack you, but have you ever ridden a SG75 looseball BB for a longer period of time? Maybe you should after you've had your fill with your protype and post back on the matter; that way you cannot be biased based on the price points of the two BB's as you appear to be now.

I honestly don't care enough to do a comparison. You being snooty about it isn't going to change my mind either.

... Anyway. Today I am going to participate in a 2-mile group ride through Richardson Grove (in the redwood forest near Garberville) in celebration of the fall harvest. Yes, TWO miles. I thought it was a joke or a typo. Should be fun, though. I'm going to miss the redwoods so much when I leave for Idaho. :(

frantik 09-24-11 08:29 AM

fall harvest in humbolt huh? prolly too stoned to ride farther than 2 miles :D

homebrewk 09-24-11 08:46 AM

Today I'm heading out for yet another swim meet. Yesterday we met this guy:

http://ivor-kovic.com/blog/wp-conten...c-shanteau.jpg

He gave us some words of encouragement and shared his life story (he got diagnosed with testicular cancer just before the 2008 Olympic Trials, was able to compete before enduring treatment/surgery). Chatted it up with him later in the evening and got his autograph. Also, he does some work with LIVESTRONG too. He's a really cool guy.

Today I'm going to ride my sw8 fixay. Been a while.

Just cleaned the drive and put my gold anodized tarck drops on. Shinin' like a lamp.

jimmytango 09-24-11 05:26 PM

Today I found out I should have surgery on my left shoulder. It seems that due to an accident a year ago that resulted in a dislocation, my collarbone sits about an inch behind and half inch above where it should actually be. On that note, I'm gonna ride 15 miles to a concert, play drums, and then ride 15 miles home. Good times.

max5480 09-24-11 05:52 PM

damn that sucks. you should go to an acupuncturist and see what they say before you get the surgery.

today i bought ridiculously expensive rando bars and levers all taped up and then put them on. they were the 26.0 version and i have a nitto 25.4 stem, and that should not have been a big deal but the stem was THE BIGGEST ***** IN THE WORLD and i swore and cursed and hit things and threw metal against metal and punched my bed and had a fit of rage for about an hour before just heating the metal up enough to bend it enough to get the bars in.

I feel your pain, but I lol'd.

Today I did another metric. The secret to dealing with the 12 microclimates in the peninsula area? Wool.

Five minutes with a Dremel and a steady hand would have been an easier fix.

RaleighSport 09-24-11 06:51 PM

Today I figured out my bike is too modern for C&V and too classic for SS/FG.

max5480 09-24-11 07:07 PM

xkillemallx16 09-24-11 08:55 PM

rode the ALS ride today in napa valley. supposedly a century "lite" at 92 miles but my friend and i got lost and ended up finishing up at around 108 (made a second 1/2 pass up mount veeder before realizing i was off course). actually feel pretty great right now, but some saddle pains will probably keep me off the bike for another day or two.
